Pharmaceutical Chemistry Departments 

The department of pharmaceutical chemistry provides the basis for synthesis of drug molecules and their analysis.

The department of pharmaceutical chemistry comprises of:

1. Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry Lab:
• Structural Activity Relationship of drug molecules
• Computer aided drug design and molecular modeling
• Hands on training on sophisticated analytical instrument
• To carry out research work in thirst area




2. Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab:
• Deals with teaching students the various analytical principles and procedures in general and as per pharmacopoeial standards.
• To impart hands-on training on sophisticated analytical instruments.
3. Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry and Biochemistry Lab:
• To perform the experiments for qualitative and quantitative determination of impurities present in various inorganic compounds.
• Meant to teach students about pathological examination of urine, saliva, blood etc. using chemical methods and by the use of sophisticated instruments.
